Every game you play adds to your rating. Your OVR is a score out of 99 for each sport, and your stats are the numbers behind it.
Each sport has its own OVR. Every game you play gives that game a rating, and your OVR moves toward it. A new player moves quickly. A player with many games moves slowly, but never stops moving, so your OVR always reflects how you are playing now.
Each sport also rates you on a few attributes, each from 1 to 99. They are what make up your card.
The stats on your card are the numbers from your games: points, goals, assists, wins, and the rest for each sport. A stat keeper logs them during the game, and they are what the rating is built from.
Your stat card shows your OVR, your attributes and your headline stats. The overall card brings your sports together, and each sport you play has its own card.
