Terms of Use
Draft: needs legal review before publishing.
- Who can use RecYard. Playing at a participating venue may need a membership or league fee that the venue sets and collects itself.
- Your account. Keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Handles must not impersonate others or be offensive.
- Playing at venues. RecYard coordinates courts, queues and games; venues run the facilities. Play safely, follow venue rules, and respect staff decisions on the court. Stats entered by venue staff are final unless staff correct them.
- Fair play. No cheating, no fake check-ins, no harassing other players. We can remove content, adjust results, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
- Content you share. You keep ownership of highlights you post. You give RecYard and the venue a licence to show them in the app. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, anything about other people without their agreement, or anything unlawful. Clips are temporary and may be removed.
- Blocking and reporting. You can block anyone. Blocked players can't see or follow you.
- Deleting your account. You can delete your account in Privacy at any time. Your past games stay in rankings under "Deleted player".
- No guarantees. The app is provided as is. Sport involves risk of injury; you play at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, RecYard isn't liable for injuries, lost items, or interruptions.
- Changes. If we change these terms we'll ask you to accept the new version.
- Cameras at venues. Participating venues film their courts. Highlights of plays you make are cut automatically and shown only to you for 24 hours; they become public only if you post them. Other people on the court may appear in your clips. Do not post a clip that shows someone in a way they would not want.
